Travel Insurance Canada
I am a Canadian travel medical insurance broker who provides insurance for:
- Canadians travelling abroad;
- Visitors to Canada and immigrants to Canada;
- Canadian expatriates worldwide;
- Foreign expatriates in Canada;
- International students in Canada.
Should it have to do with travel insurance and Canada I am the person you want to speak to thus Travel Insurance Canada.
Travel medical policies provide primarily emergency medical coverage. Included in most policies for Canadians travelling out of province are:
- Dental accident;
- Return of vehicle;
- Emergency air ambulance;
- Return of the deceased;
- Family visitation.
Travel Insurance Canada optional coverages include:
- Trip cancellation and trip interruption;
- Loss of baggage;
- Accidental death and dismemberment;
- Air flight accident.
Why is there a need for emergency medical insurance? Canadians travelling abroad are only partially covered by their provincial health plans. Should you have an unexpected illness or become injured it could cost thousands of dollars out of your own pocket. You would also have to handle claim details in an unfamiliar country while sick or injured.
Visitors to Canada are not covered under provincial health plans. While Canada has one of the best health systems in the world, it is expensive. Hospital costs can be more than $3,000.00 daily. Expatriates leaving Canada or coming to Canada would be in the same situation.
Please remember Travel Insurance Canada if you need emergency medical insurance related to Canada in any way.
