Summary
International students who come to Canada are not covered under a government health plan.
Canadian students studying abroad will not be covered adequately under their government health plan.
An international student medical policy will provide emergency medical coverage for both types of students for a few dollars a day. The policy has a coverage limit of $2,000,000.
